I already have dedicated VoIP ADSL connectivity

When using ADSL for VoIP to achieve the highest call quality we recommend dedicating connectivity 100% to VoIP rather than mix voice and data. We would only recommend mixing voice and data on connections with plenty of capacity and with equipment to manage QoS effectively such as with fibre leased lines.

If you already have dedicated VoIP ADSL connectivity from an alternate supplier that you wish to use with your Voxhub service then you will not be getting the full benefits of our service.

Using your own dedicated ADSL makes sense for overseas locations where we cannot supply Voxhub connections or temporarily because of your current situation.

ADSL from other suppliers may seem technically equivalent and may 'work', however, the difference comes in how we operate the connection, the control we have over our connections and the level of support we can give as a result.

  • Voxhub verify, test and guarantee our connections at install time.
  • We monitor and proactively fix faults on our connections.
  • We provide a free business continuity service with our connections.
  • We have access to exchange equipment to fine tune the stability and quality of our connections. We do this pro-actively if our monitoring picks up errors.
  • We take full responsibility for end to end call quality for our connections.

We hate to be negative but the following is true regarding connectivity from other suppliers.

  • Voxhub cannot provide any guarantee of quality when you use connections from other suppliers.
  • Voxhub cannot provide end to end support for our service over other suppliers connections.
  • Voxhub cannot guarantee any fix on other suppliers connection in the event of faults.
  • Faults or call quality problems with other suppliers connections render our support team powerless and all they can do is refer you elsewhere!.
